    I need a few more outlets for dosing pumps and powerheads. I will need it for the 40B and it will be placed next to the present EB8. Can I just plug the new/second EB8 into the one I already have? Will I have to run the cable/firewire to the main/base unit controller? What I am trying to accomplish besides more outlets is to be able to program them and run them using my computer......... Will it work if I just plug the EB8 into the existing one?/DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/confused.gif

    Your current EB8 has a few aquabus ports(look like USB ports) These are called Aquabus ports and you will need a aquabus cable to place one end in your old EB8 or Main unit then into your New EB8. Your new EB8 will need plugged into the wall for power, because the Aguabus only does the communication part. These can be dasy chained from one to the next up to 240 outlets if you have the full Apex.
