So I notice that my tank got a little bit cooler the other night. I was curious if my place just got that cold so I looked if my heaters were on and sure enough they did not come on.  The graph below shows the temp which is the blue line and the green & red lines are my heaters.  Up means the heaters are on so they should have indicated they were on during the low blue peak on the right side of the graph.  Any ideas why it decided not to work correctly at that point??

How big of heaters are you using? Which outlets are you using to control them?

Could it be the settings on the heater itself over riding the Apex? For some reason a stuck thermostat on the heater keeping it off on that end?
It looked like it started working normal again the next day.

I would guess davids suggestion... Something stuck on your heater. Or your temp probe malfunctioned? If the latter, it wouldnt give u a readout tho...

I would make sure that the heaters thermostat is set at least a couple degrees higher than your apexs programmed off temp (if u have a thermostat on it) that way its always on when the apex turns it on...

I had a heater issue today too... Tripped my gfci. Cant figure it ouy-its the backup that never runs. Maybe got cold and both running kicked it off. Funny never happened before.

Alright, the heaters are in outlets 5 and 6. They are a 250W and 300W both functioning normally. They are set to 82 degrees so they will come on no matter what when the Apex tells them to. If you look at the graph the temp fell below my threshold I set for the heaters to come on. They are both set at different temps so only both come on if one is struggling to get the temp up. So in this case, both heaters weren't turned on and they should have been.
Blackx : You are right that they started working correctly after that one time.

Strange right? Should I bring this to neptune's attention?

After I posted I realized you had 2 heaters... the odds of them both malfunctioning at the same time is slim to none. I would say that points more towards something screwy with the apex.

Thread Jack... How do you get your graphs to display like that? Mine seem to reset every midnight even when I change the number of days to display. The probes themselves seem to only log back a few hours at a time. Is there settings that control this?
Apex was not reset anytime in the last couple days when I started watching the graphs.
