I recently purchased a used APEX without the display. I cannot get it to connect using the default ip address. Is there any way figure out what the address is without a display? Or any way to reset to factory setting without the display?

    Thanks, Josh

Try to search the apex support forums. I had good luck getting help on there. I don't know how you could do it without a display.

Hook it up to your network and use the tool that comes with the apex firmware updates from Neptune systems.

I was able to connect to it and get it updated with the flash tool from neptune. I just cant seem to get the web pages to update now. I have the same ip and port set in the flash tool and when i click on the magnifying glass it detects it. I can even click the open in web browser and it opens the dashboard. but still cannot connect to remote server.

I'm sure there is a way to do it without a display.... but if you are having trouble and need me to stop over and let you borrow my display briefly to figure out some of your settings/ Aquacontroller IP I could come over and try to help...

    Clear your browsers memory first.

I have cleared my browsers cache before trying to update the web pages and after to no avail. The instructions actually say to clear the cache after the web pages update, but i cant even get past that process. I guess i will try and update it from a different pc on my network and see if that works.

After clearing the cache are you completely closing out of all internet windows and opening up a new one to try it?

Are you trying to access with the local address (192.168.1.xxx) or the IP & port?
