Yes. That's right. I need aptasia. I have a pretty good berhgia nudibrach colony started but unfortunately my aptasia colony was not quite up to speed. If anyone can spare a few hundred aptasia (preferably not on rocks or substrate, somewhere they can be scraped off easily) I would put you on the top of my nudibrach list. I could even give you a couple berhgia.

I'm convinced these little buggers are the only sure way to eradicate aptasia. I have a 300 gallon reef tank that had THOUSANDS of aptasia and I was losing the battle and some large corals. I ordered 20 berhgia nudibrach online (cost me a fortune). A month goes by.......nothing.....couldn't even find a berhgia. Another month and it seems like something is happening. In the next 3 weeks my tank is completely clean!!!

I'm so thrilled and impressed with these natural aptasia predators that I decided to breed them and supply to others locally with aptasia problems. The crazy thing is that each nudibrach eats somewhere around 5 aptasia a day!

Please help me with my aptasia colony needs. I have 3 tanks dedicated to growing aptasia and they are, but they are not fully established and I need to get them to a stable population to support the nudibrach.

    Thanks for your consideration, Darren

It is kinda crazy.  I agree.
If you have or ever have had a serious aptasia problem you would understand how valuable these little Berghia Nudibrachs are.  Unbelievably persistent and completely unwaivering until every Aptasia has been eaten.  They eat them from the base up and the Aptasia do not release thier gammetes while being eaten so they don not repopulate.  Berghia completely eratdicate a tank of aptasia...for good.  I tried Joes Juice and aptasia just keep coming back and in larger numbers.
Here's a link to some good information about Berghia. http://www.saltyunderground.com/pag...3&CDpath=0
I should have a solid colony of Berghia within a month or so and will be selling them locally.
    Thanks,
    Darren
