Lol. Yup I cheated. He is way better than I am at scaping. But I didn't realize how many sps peices I had to put in there. Tank is pretty full. I left some room for everything to encrusted and grow. So it does look a little empty but I have 38 peices in there now and 2 more coming.

Oh man! I love the scape. Any thoughts on turning the two clams outwards to accentuate the negative space (path) between your two rock structures?

Looks great, let me know how your wrasse does with no sand.

I'm a fan of separate islands over a single wall.

Thanks everyone. I will move the calms to see how they look tomorrow. And so far my wrasse is doing good he is not like a malanarus wrasse so he should be ok. I have been slowly removing sand for last 2-3 months every water change. He has been swimming around all the time like always. But any problems I might have to go fishing too lol.

Thanks Bill. I can't wait to see your rock wall full of acros when it's all grown out.

Thanks everyone. With all the flow in my tank I decided to go bare bottom. When my goby was working you could hardly see. So I removed the sand and re homed my goby. So far I like the bare bottom. And it's already starting to get corraline on the bottom.

It looks like there's something holding your rocks to the bare bottom. What did you use or what is it that I'm seeing?

Yeah I used epoxy so the rocks wouldn't slip on the glass. Eventually I will have corals covering that.

I got it at bulk reef supply. It's the 4 oz. Stick of coraline color. It's a 2 part epoxy. Break off what you want and squish it till its uniform in color. It stinks and is sticky. Wear latex gloves. And your skimmer is gonna probably freak out for awhile. It's the 2 little fishies brand. I have tried other brands and found I like this one best. I use it to stabilize rock and mound frags.

Thanks for the info. I was worried about my rocks sliding on the the glass. That should take care of my worries.

I have seen a few bare bottom tanks with star board on bottom that looks pretty good but I didn't have time to cut up a piece and get all my rock and corals back in. it will look better when its covered in coralline and encrusting montis.
I don't think the rock was going anywhere its locked in good but I am not taking any chance on an avalanche.
