Aquarium Builders?

    Along the same vein as my thread about stand builders; anyone in the club have a reputation for making quality aquariums? I'm not sure I have a preference between acrylic and glass. Approximate dimensions would be 48x24/30x24 or 36x30/24x24.

    Isn't 48x24x24 the standard 120 gallon dimensions? You could just buy a 120 and save your self some money. Otherwise, Glass Cages(http://www.glasscages.com/) makes decent glass tanks. There's a place in Minnesota that makes acrylic tank also. Try sending Craig(Xroads) a message, I know he's had a few acrylic tanks made from the place in Minnesota. Rick(B-Rad) also does a lot of acrylic work, not sure if he would take on a project of this size or not, but you could send him a message also.

    Haha you're right, wasn't thinking (and who knows, a standard 120 might work fine -- the goal is a peninsula). 48x30x24 or 36x30/24x24 is more along what I was thinking. Thanks for the suggestions!

    Yup, peninsula tanks are nice. I've got a 125 that I setup as a room divider and it's setup to look like a peninsula.

    Don't use Glass Cages. Do some research on them and you'll fine some people that are happy and some that are really, really not. My understanding is that it is a crap shoot with them.
