Been thinking about the anemone that I have listed for sale. I want to be sure that it goes to a home (aquarium) that will be able to support it and keep it alive. Its a healthy and good sized rainbow anemone. As my tank is very stable and well established with good lighting and flow - I've never worried about the 'minimum' requirements that were required.

So that is what I would like some feedback on. What do you think are the 'minimum' requirements? lighting, flow, length of time the tank has been up and running ????........

In my opinion a good guideline is if SPS coral thrive in your tank you can support an anemone.

That is a really good question.

I have had anemones do well in nutrient rich water kind of like a LPS tank.

Medium light is ok, any flow is ok.

In general I have had them thrive in a wide range of settings once they get adjusted.

Lower lighting can be supported by direct feeding more often
