I have been losing fish right and left for the last six months. I lost a whole batch of new fish (8-10) about six months ago as well. I am at my wits end. I am starting to suspect my starfish. Especially the serpent star. He is about 8" tip to tip. I have seen him in a spider like position often...as if he is trying to trap a fish underneath him. My suspicion is that he eats new fish who are trying to find a place to call home under and in the rocks. I also have a huge brittle star but I am not as suspicious of it.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

    most definitely!

I doubt the brittle but most definitely the serpent, they are known fish eaters.
