Neptune Systems quietly released 4.03-6A10 on the first of June after it being a beta release since early April.  I know it fixes the issue I've been having with the graphing as well as many other minor issues along with adding support for the PM3 (for salinity probe) and WXM (for Vortech control) modules.  It also adds support for some of Ken Argo's online utilities for program management (not mentioned in the release notes).  I've not seen people complaining about it on the forums so my take on it would be that it's a stable release.  Enjoy!

Pshhh Apex....AC3 is still the best /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/wink.gif Unless someone wants to trade haha. AJ are there any real advantages to the Apex over the AC3? The only thing I really would like is the vortech module but I can do without it.

There are a few differences, but some of the most noteworthy are:

USB cables vs 4 wire telephone cables (each has their own pros and cons)
    Better web interface
    Easier programming (more wizard like)
New modules are auto-discovered vs. having to be set with dip switches
Amperage metering for Energy bars (does not support old DC8 or HD4 power bars for metering)
PM1-3 modules replace the old PX1000 (which saves $$)
Total bus (amount of wires used to connect all modules) can be up to 200 feet making managing some components upstairs and others in the basement realistic.
    Nicer display with easier controls
Variable speed/power outlets built in eliminating the need for the AquaSurf module while also making it more flexible and multi-purpose (i.e. the variable speed/power outlets can be used to control a DIY LED rig allowing you to simulate a sunrise/sunset type lighting scenario where the AquaSurf module was to control Tunze pumps only)

Honestly, the AC3 satisfies 95% of the requirements that most people will have and is an excellent controller for the $$. For the money, a used AC3 is probably the best value for the money that you can get right now.

I am jealous of the vortech controls you get. I can;t wait until the RKE gets an update for this... it's been ages!
