I'm going to try and be there. Is it OK if my daughter comes with? She may voice an opinion.

hmm not sure everyone is going to want to drive back into CR unless they're headed that way but my church, St. James, is having a backed potato bar that night and we could all go to that instead of pizza. but that is just an idea not something we have to do unless everyone wants to go. $5 for the bar.

Planning to attend. I'm looking forward to getting a Apex, but since I don't have one yet I'm afraid this might blow my mind!

I'm planning to be there. Is anyone bringing controllers to the meeting so that we can see them first hand? I can bring an AC3 and a laptop to connect into it to show programming. If the community center has Internet access, I can also remote into my Apex....

I have my cell phone with an app that controls my apex people can look at, as well as my Ipad has an app too i can bring.  I can take some pictures of my stuff to bring along and if there is internet access can bring my controller up as well too.

If there is internet I can setup a laptop with skype on it infront of my tank and we can do stuff and watch it change on video /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif  That might be pretty cool too /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif  I can bring a projector if needed to blow it up so everyone can see /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/wink.gif

Can the AC3 be used to control an LED dimmer (10v)?

Short answer, no.  The AC3 does not have built in dimming capabilities like the Apex...and my understanding is that the AquaSurf module that works with the AC3 does not extend the capability to dimming LEDs.

This is correct.  The AquaSurf does not support Ramp profiles which are required for LED dimming.

So that means I shouldn't bring the corals you wanted?
