So i didnt think of doing this until I already had most of the pieces glued together. But here it is.

I have a bashea aquatics skimmer 8-24 currently (which skims like a beast) but since adding more to my system it is underrated for my 300g+ heavy stocked system. So I had to get a bigger one.

I was going to get the bashea 8-30 but decided to go a different route (the mag24 pump required for it was just to much) and get an avast CS3 that is rated for tanks up to 500g although Ive seen reviews with them being on larger system.

I went with the avast swabbie also.

First was the collection cup and the skimmer neck

I put together the swabbie lid ect while the cup and neck dried
