Back to GIRS

Starting to get the bug again.  I know once you go SW you always come back....and this is true for me as well.  I haven't been that active in the GIRS community for well over a year, and really look forward to getting back and learning and interacting from its' members.
Still live in Dubuque, which is a problem for groups....I leave it to you guys to help me decide on which GIRS regional group would be best.  I am partial to traveling to Aquatic Environments now and then for some SW needs, along with taking the wife to Red Lobster (I know hypocrisy at its' best /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/laugh.gif)  I'd like to try to attend some meetings and be more active this time around.  Also if there are other DBQers around I'd be more than happy getting to know them as well if they attend other groups.
We've kept our 65G tank still going at work at the Airport here in Dubuque.  My co-worker and I are continually growing it where we can and trying to keep things stable and well rounded.
At home my wife and I are finally working on remodeling our basement, the main reason of not having a fishtank at home.  Well I just looked over at my 12G nano JBJ sitting in the corner at work and thought it would be a good starter for bringing SW back into the house (A far cry from my old 125, but hey baby steps).  We have a new 3 month old at home so my cash isn't exactly spare for another huge investment.  I look at it as any tank is better than no tank right???
So I look forward to getting to know you guys again as I try to get back into a more active SW role.  I am sorry I can't make MACNA this year, really bummed since it's so close this year, but drywall won't hang itself and the wife makes the call /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif
