Bang for Buck RODI??

    So I need suggestions on RODI units, what is the best bang for the buck? I'm gonna be running a 24 gal aquapod and just want something to clean the putrid Nevada water! Any advice would be greatly helpful! (what unit and where I can snag one please!)

    They're all basically the same. Just get one with standard sized canisters and RO membranes. Some of the compact units run odd sizes filters and membranes that cost significantly more money to replace. Built in TDS meter is nice just for a quick check of the output water, but a handheld TDS meter will do the job.

    I have had real good luck with Air, water, ice. They are a sponsor of the club, offer discounts, and have good customer service.

    I have also had good luck with AWI. They usually have a special going on and you can find the discount codes, etc. in their Vendor posts.

    Just buy generic canisters, get the .5 micron spectrapure sediment/carbon, and then a high-silicate membrane, silicate resin for a canister, and 5 lbs of resin.

    Great company to deal with.
    I don't know what the difference, but I've had the best luck with their filters and DI cartridges. I tried a different source once and the results were not good. Went back to AWI and I'll use them every time the cartridges need changed now.
