Seeing if anyone out there has some "beginner" coral frags they would be willing to let go cheap. The plan was to do a FOWLER tank, but seeing quite a few of the other members tanks the plans have changed LOL. I am currently running a 260w PC light fixture on a 40 long tank. Reef Octo HOB skimmer and a single Hydor evolution 750gph. System has been going for a couple months now and all seems well.
If anyone has some frags that might work for my setup I am definitely interested. Not looking for anything special or fancy, just something to get me started on my way to keeping corals. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I can put together something that would work with Toadstool, Xenia, Green Zoas and a Green Favia for $35 and $15 for shipping. But someone closer by can probably save you the shipping.

I'll keep that in mind. I was hoping to get someone local so I wouldn't have to pay for shipping.
I also have an offer from Des Moines, so maybe I'll have to plan a road trip to start my coral collection. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/hehe.gif

I think I have some you would do well with. Look at photos on

1,2,7,9,10,11,14,20, and 29 are all $7.50 each, mounted on a frag plug. If you would like one of each, I can do all 9 for $60. My husband will be driving up to Ceder Rapids on Monday and could bring them up. You would just have to pick them up over by Kirkwood were he lives.

I sent a friend request. How often is your husband back and forth?
I am getting some this weekend and I will give those a few weeks to make sure I don't kill them off before adding anymore. But you have some really nice pieces and I will definitely keep you in mind for future coral.
