Please let me know if you have tried these creatures for controling apptasia and also who you bought them from. I have a mess of apptasia to cleanup. If there is a better choice please let me know which one I should use.
    Thanks,

From what I've heard peppermint shrimp work really good. I read the articale in Dr fosters and Smiths and they way the problem with nudibranchs is that it take a while for them to get populated enough to make a dent in aptusia.

Berghia are an awesome solution if you can get a breeding population going in your tank, but you have to buy enough of them. You also have to be very careful when adding them to the tank that they don't get eaten.

Peppermint shrimp are a good alternative, but they eat other things besides aiptasia, so they can be hit or miss.

If you want to put a big dent in the population in a hurry, buy a bottle of Aiptasia-X. It's not as effective as a good predator, but you can use it to get rid of a lot of them so they aren't so much of an eye sore.
