Bigger Sump

    Hello All, my name is Scott I'm new to the hobby(feb 23) and i have a 72 gal.bow front with a 10 gal. sump and am looking for a larger sump 40 gal. I'm in the Des Moines. Let me know what you have. Also anyone have any reviews on SCA180 skimmers don't currently have a skimmer at all and this is the one i'm getting.. Thanks for any help!!!!!

    petco has their dollar per gallon sale going on right now so you could get a 40b tank for 40 bucks and a few pieces of glass and make a sump for about 60 bucks.plenty of diy sump directions and diagrams online.i have no experience with that skimmer myself so i'm of no help on that one,sorry.

    have fun and enjoy getting it all setup.dont rush this hobby and it's quiet rewarding.i use my tank as my all natural prozac lol.

    Well fellow hobbyist I found a 50 gal. tank. It will be my first DIY sump. Bad news is it is the same foot print as my display tank. good news is I will have to get a new stand. Thanks for the tips./DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif
