   This is my 1st one I am new to hobby and the pellets are stuck together so I bought a new pump and still same but now I can't get the lid off any suggestions I don't want to crack the canister to get lid off but it seems really on there tight

   Why kind do you have? Is it the type that is built similar to an RODI unit? If so you should have a special type of wrench to remove it. If its really stuck on there try running under some warm water for a bit.
