Does anyone know how to do the upgrades for LED lights in a biocube? I'm pretty sure if I tried to do it, I would mess something up horribly. I also imagine buying the regular biocube and some 3rd party LED lights are cheaper & better than buying the biocube with the MH bulb - or - spending the $700 on the new JBJ system with LEDs. Any imput?

I did the panorama pro's and a large reason is becasue it's pretty easy to install being modular and plug and play. There is a bit of wiring if you want to keep the fans running - and that is a good idea. 2 pro's and a uv stunner in my 14 cube is growing green slimer acro and birdsnest. Growing a bit too fast for my comfort!

I've done it with my 29 Biocube. DIY led's with Maker's 12in heatsink and steveled's leds and drivers. I can help you do it sometime.

I just completed a rapid led retrofit of my biocube 8. Great decision, the system fit perfect, was easy to do, looks great, and was only a hundred and ten bucks. I have 5 royal blue, 4 white, and 2 uv on a single dimmable driver. I just finished programming a Msp430 microcontroller to control the dimming, and I will integrate that with the switches on top of the tank, but I haven't fit that into the hood quite yet. If you wanna check it out, you're welcome to come over. It helps that the bulbs on that tank were getting to be almost 20 bucks each, and burning out twice a year.
