I would just as soon buy white and paint it with krylon fusion. I think that would be cheaper /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/hybrid//emoticons/smile.gif

If you do go with white and krylon let it sit for a week before you put it in the water if you read the can it takes 7 days for the paint to fully bond with the plastic. I have put a reactor in the next day and paint was comeing off in a week but the plumbing that is in my frag tank now ( that i waited 7 days with ) has been in there for about 6 months with none comeing off.

Did they change their formula? I dropped plumbing into my tank less than 24 hours after painting and it looks as good as it did on day one.

How long has it been in there? When I did it that way with a reactor i build it came off. And then I read the can and it says it is not fully cured tell 7 days better safe than sorry.

It has been in there about two years. Admittedly I didn't read the can, but went on other advice I had read that 24 hours was sufficient. That's why I was asking. If it did change, that's good to know because I probably wouldn't have read it the second time around either! /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/hybrid//emoticons/wink.gif

Regal Plastics in either Des Moines or Evansdale I think it was $11 a sheet.

Hey I would go with that. That's the same price most places sell the white egg crate.

+1 that is a great deal I paid twice that for a sheet of black from a on line plastics company.

Any idea if they have Sat hours? I will be in Waterloo on Sat and would swing by if they were open.
