Black eggcrate in Iowa City/Coralville area?

    My tank, "Murphy's Law", has struck again!
    Last night I lost another clown to a carpet surfing accident.
    The other day I watched my toddler climb up to the top of the tank using a prop.
    I think the writing's on the wall...I need to take steps to prevent other "issues" in the future!
    Anyone sell it locally?

    Aw man...sorry to hear about that! Maybe it's time to go and visit the Kirklins and check out the baby black and whites they have. Nice fish from nice folks!

    Anyway, on the black eggcrate, I'm not sure who sells it locally. I believe there's a place in Waterloo/Cedar Falls area that sells it, but I'm not sure of anywhere locally.

    i like the white eggcrate with krylon paint /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif much much easier haha

    Yeah, but I have OCD & the paint chipping off and exposing white spots would drive me nuts!

    --AJ I've already discussed that with my wife and we are interested - were they listed on Craig's List a while ago?  In Robins?  She mentioned them before.
    Still listed in member's section I believe.

    eplastics.com sells them 2foot x 4 foot for about $20 shiped and they ship pretty fast

    There's 2 different varieties of the white and only 1 of the black.
    .375" Black or White is $13.50 plus shipping
    .500" White only is $22.73 plus shipping.
    You must have purchased the thicker product...I would have but I wanted the black as I don't think that painted it'll stand up to constant use as a cover versus a frag rack.

    Nah i got the back to. I've meen ordering a lot of stuff and just got the price wrong. It was my first time buying from them and i was impressed with the ship time and the packaging.

    So I ordered this on the 30th of January (Sat), got a confirmation e-mail on Monday the 1st but didn't receive it until Tuesday Feb. 9th - far from fast shipping.
