Blue Led`s too bright?

    I got 4 strips total, 4$ a piece, but 96 led's per strip... Got em hooked up, only have 2 shown here, shining straight down, put them on their side to make it not such direct, but the fish didn't seem to mind either way... But can they be too bright? Do the pics look too bright? Don't want blind puffers [​IMG]

    Might not be the right nm, but it looks dam good when I turn them over so they're not focused into the tank.... The pics above are directly down, 2 strips...
    Got the 12v 1.5A AC to DC power supply from radio shack, spliced the wires... (25$)

    Don't think it's to bright. As long as the fish don't seem to be bothered by it. Do you know if they come in the white 10k type color?

    Uhh, I know they had white, red, blue, green...
    Dunno if they're 10k, but they are SUPER DAM BRIGHT... lol I can't even look into them for more than a second or so....

    Ya, mainly for night though...
    I've got the tank in my living room here with 3 massive ~6ft tall windows, so during the day I don't even use a light for the tank...
