I really like my new Blue Spot Jaw Fish, well I like the looks of him anyway.  What I don't like is the fact that he can't just dig one hole and stay in it.  He is constantly moving around.  So far I have been lucky and is keeping towards the back of the tank where there aren't any corals on the sand bed.  If decides to move up front and start burying my high dollar acan colonies he is gonna have to find a new home.  I hate to do it but I have more money invested in acans than I do him.
Hopefully, it won't come to that.

Depending on price I would also take him off your hands.

Hopefully he will get settled in and quit all the non-stop digging.

my stupid spell check on my phone automatically changes words it doesnt recognize so it changed gobies to honors what it was supposed to say is that they are like gobies they dig and spit sand every where especially on your best corals. I made the mastake of getting a dragon gobie recently and he is constantly spitting sand all over my corals and im not too happy with him right now

This fish is drivin' me nuts! It would be awesome if he would stay in one place but every night he digs a new burrow. I am going to give him another week, if he doesn't pick a home in my tank by then he is going to have to go.

If I didn't have so many corals that I need to keep them in the sand it wouldn't be an issue at all.

Have you tried making a pvc home for him. Mine stayed in his home for a long time. The one time he left was when the tank parms went out of wack for a week, but when it went back to normal he found his home again.  William

Hmmm, that might be worth a shot.  I was thinking that was only for people who didn't have DSB's but I am desperate, I'll try anything.

You should take a piece of pvc and put two 90 degree pieces on the ends. That way you can burry most of it in the sand then you won't have such a eye sore. I know how you fell though it sucks when you spend money on something for the tank and it ends up being a total pain.
