Anyone know of any good books to read about reef aquariums/saltwater fish/etd? I've found nothing useful at the local B&N. Was wondering if any of you have read something that was worth remembering or good.

I own a ton of reef books, after years in the hobby, I still drag them out.

    Corals by Eric Borneman

Book of Coral Propagation by Anthony Calfo

Charles Delbeek wrote 3 volumes called The Reef Aquarium

Scott Michael has written many fish specific books

Calfo & Fenner wrote an ok book on reef inverebrates

    Many Many Many more

Thanks! I have a lot of downtime so I thought I would start reading some good books. However, after looking at the prices of some of these I feel like I'm back in college again!

I'm sure a continuous license like that would be stupid expensive!

Just use the "budget" for the other groups and not Des Moines. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif I'm fine with that.

Actually I got the 3rd volume by Charles Delbeek and it's pretty interesting. I can't wait to finish it.

Yah right, our budget wouldn't put a dent in that kind of license, I'm talking about 10k per year or more probably!
If your looking for anything other than specifically pertaining to aquarium keeping (like say ocean/reef science an ecology) let me know I have tons of recommendations.
