I worked a double shift till 4am at the hospital, of course they pulled the plows off the road at 9 that night. To make matters worse I drive a tiny little car with 2" lowering springs and my neighborhood gets horrible drifts. The drift in my front yard is 5'2" (I measured). and the end of my drive way was 40" deep. Most of the roads back towards my place here were swept over with 2' drifts and I was able to make out the remnants of plow paths that had been blown over and filled in. Getting from the hospital to my neck of the woods was no prob really, 3" of pack on the roads, no cars at 4 am, I had to punch through a couple of 2' plow lines left by plows and I broke some molding on the lower trim of my front bumper. But that was nothing compared to the last quarter mile on these forsaken neighborhood roads. I labored the motor and roasted the tires, working back and forth, fwd/rev for almost 30 minutes to make it that last 1/4 mi, there were 8 cars stuck between Lakeside and my place (and maneuvering around them was no easy task) Finally, with unbridled momentum I spearheaded that 40" drift at the end of my drive way. The hard part was digging a path and digging out the car. I had packed the bumpers and molding, engine bay, wheel wells, and undercarriage full of snow, but after an hour and 40 minutes I managed to get her loose and up the path into my drive way (I shovel by hand). I'm still sore! Yeah Booya, now that's epic level snow driving, anybody can do the snow in a truck or suv, and somehow I still saw a few of them stuck in the median or right in the middle of drifts back here on my block!
