    Dr. Roy Caldwell suggested that this mantis was very probably sick. Considering Dr. Roy's background, I am going to side with him.

    Otherwise, I would have giggled like an idiot for a weak had that guy lost his pinky to that thing.

    I'd agree on sick otherwise the guy would of lost use of his hand.

    Man there are a ton of cool Mantis videos on You tube. Lost the last hour of my life to a couple mantis videos and a few bo fo sho videos. That Bo kid is HILLARIOUS!!!

    A little of topic, but has any seen the octopus intelligence video?  It's really great.
    But back on topic to Mantis, this video is the coolest one I've ever seen.  It's 18 min long lecture about mantis and they have a camera that films 5,000 frames per second.
    I don't know if the videos will show, I don't know how to post them.

    That crab video is awesome. I like how the crab uses its rear legs to try to distract the shrimp.
