    Hi all,
Awhile back I got some Neo Marine salt when BRS was having a sale. The first big difference I noticed was the smell. It reminds of Prime water conditioner. Then, after a couple water changes, my tank looked worse with the new salt.
So, I switched back to reef crystals. Recently I started doing half and half to see what my results would be. The tank didn't have a big set back like before. However, as the amount of water turned over, I noticed that the water began to smell like the bucket.
I'm done with the bucket of salt (as much as I hate to throw away expensive salt). I just wanted to know if I got a bad bucket, or if that's normal for the Brightwell salt.
    Thanks,
    Noah

I've never tried it. What was it about RC that you switched in the first place? Just curious.

I had never used trace elements, and this salt was supposed to be more comprehensive. I saw what a higher end salt was doing on Donny's aquarium, and wanted to try it. So, when BRS had a big time sale I went for it.
