The scrubber shown in that video is a Rev 3 L2. I'd love to have BRS carry them...we'll see

@Turbo's Aquatics@Turbo's Aquatics you'd probably have to enlist some help so that you can produce them fast enough ;)

Patent US4333263 - Algal turf scrubber
Algae scrubber - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Apparently a scientist from the Smithsonian held it, and then withdrew the licensing and didn't let anyone else make any. The wiki needs edited to make it less of a sales site or maybe add some pics of the Turbo scrubbers so people can actually see some good ones.

Edit: Nevermind about my conspiracy theory regarding wikipedia. I realized it doesn't actually show any particular product. It just seems to initially emphasize the upflow scrubbers, which I haven't been a fan of.

Walter Adey. 30 yrs ago. Patent expired several years ago ("recent" I suppose)

Walter licensed dump-bucket horizontal scrubbers like Inland Aquatics sells and sued everyone he went into direct business with. I guess someone told him he had a million dollar idea and he's still waiting.

He focused on large wastewater treatment. :: The Algal Turf Scrubber :: is his

Ok so I wasn't crazy. I hadn't actually ever seen the Wiki before until today.
