Got tired of seeing it take over my tank and decided to dip in 20% hydrogen peroxide/ saltwater mixture. Good news is bryopsis is gone.... Bad news some of my corals decided to go with it. My blasto, frogspawn and torch are struggling. Dipped in Lugols and crossing my fingers. Leathers are toast.

Most days this hobby is great.... But right now I want to tear my hair out!!!!!!/DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/mad.gif

That's one of the few advantages of not having hair.

I've dipped zoas in peroxide with no long term ill effects (I'd estimate 25% peroxide 75% tank water) I also tried it on a Duncan colony that developed brown jelly from laying in the sand bed. I wouldn't try it again, it pretty much evaporated all the flesh at the base of each head.

Did you have any corals that were unharmed from it?

St Thomas mushrooms came and a different blasto and an Acan came out fine. I have done this before with no ill side effects. Same concentration and everything.... Just not sure what happened.

That's sad to hear..... I battled bryopsis for many months with the cube set-up I bought last fall. It was a real challenge to get rid of it. I hope some of the stuff comes back!
