My son's 75 gallon tank has been invaded by Bubble Algae.  Admittedly he did not take care of it and now it has been overtaken.  He has 3 fish left and a few softies.
His plan is to 'nuke" his tank and foster his fish and coral with me.
Are there other options?  When i visited him a couple of weeks ago i pulled alot off but of course there is more there.
    Any suggestions?
    Thx
    Mary

I had tons of bubble algae a couple of years ago.  Every few months I'd try to pull it out with tweezers, but it always came back.  Then I recieved a free sample of API's marine Algaefix at DFS's coral conference two years ago.  I normally hate to put chemicals in my tank, but I tried it and it worked WONDERS.  I've been free of the bubble algae ever since.  It even took care of the really tough green algae I had.
