I'm starting to see micro bubbles in my tank.  They seem to be attaching themselves to everytthing, which can't be good.  I sat and stared at the returns from my sump and don't see any coming out.  Just not sure why over the last week this is taking place.  Any clues???????

when i see bubbles like that, it usually means red slime is starting to form.

HMMMM. Weill, i have changed bulbs in the tank and added rock, so I gues that could cause a slime outbreak. I'll keep an eye on it. I need a clean up crew too, which may be part of my problem.

Are you actually seeing bubbles in the water or only on surfaces? If you see a ton in the water too I doubt it would be a red slime thing. Not sure what to say if you don't see where they are originating from.

If the bubbles are in the water column I would clean your pumps. I have had micro bubbles in my tank and could not see them in the return pump water but after I cleaned the pumps the micro bubbles disappeared.
