Bucketless water change

    So in the process of building my 220 set up I ended up with a mag 18 sitting around while I build my stand and canopy so I decided to put it to good use by using it for water changes pumping from my basement to the main level but the pump has a 3/4" output and I had a bunch of 3/8" tubing laying around so I used it but the flow is pretty slow, better than lugging buckets up the stairs but would it be worth it to run 3/4" tube instead of the 3/8" or at that height would it not really matter

    with that head height I don't think it would benefit anything to go to larger piping.

    Just get a litermeter.
