bulkhead imperfections

Note to others: check for imperfections on gasket face of bulkheads prior to installation. The gasket is too thin to make up for poor surfacing. Piece of s(explicit) leaked and only a saw could solve the problem. Drying the glass and placing a small bit of silicone on this one. Won't be enough pvc to fit a coupler for another redo.

 

These were from the fish shack in Manchester. Simply the standard abs bulkheads. He stocks from Wilson's pet supply tho am sure its the same bulkhead by any other supplier. Cant imagine there are many manufacturers of thin wall abs bulkheads. The bulkheads at thiesens are banjo brand and are built thick however require a much larger hole. I would have went this rout if working with plastic where I can easily make a bigger hole.
