i have some candycanes and was wondering if i cut them apart and made my own arrangement with them and then glued them to a rock... would they still grow and be healthy???

More than likely! From my experience, candy canes are extremely hardy. As long as you don't interrupt the tissue much and stick to separating them at the skeleton, you should be good! Just like breaking apart a duncan
