You probably need to set the white balance on camera. I would tell you but I'm sure I will get you confused. Lol
Google set white balance on the camera . You will find everything there . That will help out a lot .

 

That's the camera I use. You have to set custom white balance. Involves taking a picture of a white card or plate while its inside aquarium. Needs to be waterproof and safe. There's a lot of write ups online how to do it. Just don't forget to go back to auto white balance or all pics are messed up after that.

 

There is a filter that can be used that works really well. We had a meeting that looked at how to do this. If I remember correctly @Fence13 should be able to give you a more definative answer.

 

Yes you can either white balance to a white card in the tank or you can apply a filter over the lens to filter out the blue. But you will need more than blue light on the corals. If you have all blue, and you filter out the blue you aren't left with much and that will/could affect your pictures.

 

I have this camera and I just use a filter over the lens and it works well for me. I'm not very camera savvy though so maybe my word doesn't hold much weight. I am actually thinking about getting the sigma macro lens from bestbuy for this camera because it's on sale. I've heard mostly good reviews about it. Some people on Amazon don't like it because they get refurbished lenses.
