I am trying to catch a Blue Velvet Damsel in my 125 gallon tank and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to catch this fish.

What works for me is put the net towards the top and put a little food in the tank. When the fish comes to eat SWIPE!

I tried that one and missed and now it doesn't leave the rocks to far and it just sets and waits for the food to come to it. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/sad.gif
I am going to purchase a fish trap this weekend and try that!

Get a large enough loose net to cover your rock work and drape it over your rocks and anchor down with a couple small rocks. Leave an opening so the fish can escape, then feed
When the damsel comes out close the opening. It should be an easy grab from there! Good luck
