    Hello.
I'm Chad, I live in and grew up in Ankeny.  I'm married with a buttload of kids.   I recently fired up the old aquariums and right now I have running a 10 Fresh for molly/guppy fry, a 15 running nothing but pods and brine shrimp for my saltwater food, a 55 Fresh with an assortment of little critters, shrimp, crawfish, tetras, guppies, mollies, peacock eels, knife fish, drawf gourami and some loaches.  I have a 55 Salt that I just fired up about 2 months ago.  It has 4 Clarkii a green spotted puffer (more on him in a few), a mated pair of mollies who love making salt water fry, a pair of guppies just coming to maturity.  The mollies and guppies are excellent cleaners and have been in the tank since the beginning.
I acclimated the Mollies with a 6 hour drip, the guppies I just threw in.  I have some molly fry still running around in there that were actually born in the salt water.  I took some out and fed them to my fresh water tank but left about 6 in the salt, they're still in there as far as I know.  Whenever I drop in guppies though, the clowns grab them.
Now the puffer.  This GSP was a walmart neglect that I purchased and slowly turned salt.  He was sickly at first in the fresh water but a slow change to brackish then a quicker change to salt made a huge difference in him.  However, I think he was sick enough that he has suffered some sort of brain damage.  He's pleasant enough but when he goes up to grab a shrimp from the surface or something he'll almost always miss his mark.  This may be normal but what isn't normal is the fact that he's in a reef tank with other fish like the mollies and guppies and doesn't seem to bother them at all.  Molly fry will swim right up to the GSP and practically kiss him before swimming off.  The GSP simply isn't aggressive.  This is actually a little disappointing because of the rate at which I produce guppy and molly fry.  He hasn't bothered any corals or animals at all since purchase...  Hopefully he gets more pissy as he gets older. I have another tank I can set up if he does /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/wink.gif  He likes to be handfed.
    Anyway.. more about me.
I SCUBA dive as much as I can, which isn't much.  I've been to the Carribean islands a LOT, pretty much from St. Croix to the Bahamas and most of what's in between.  I really love Atlantic diving.  I dove off Oahu for about a week and it was somewhat boring.  There were lots of turtles etc., but nothing interesting, though admittedly, it was shore diving, which was probably the problem.  I prefer live-aboard boats or at least boat launches from shore to get out away from land.
I used to have some aquariums but got out of it for a long time.  Lately I have more free time as I own two businesses with my wife.  One is a cleaning company, you might have seen me in our commercial with my wife and kids.  It's called Absolutely Clean Residential & Commercial or ACRC.  We do residential and office cleaning and we have a window cleaning division for windows.  http://absolutelycleanwindows.com  - Our site has online estimators so you can plug in the number of items/rooms/windows and get a quick estimate before ever sending any information to us.
We also own a tattoo shop.  http://kinktattoo.com It's located in Ankeny and our prices are easily half what everyone else is charging.  Not because we're not good but because we simply want to get the art out there and the customers into the shop.  Being new it can be difficult to gain the trust from people but I think we've done an excellent job so far.  With our prices it takes us a little longer to make the bill payments each month but the customers love the pricing and I always like to see someone come in for the first time and ask "how much would X cost" and then they get a price and they're like "no fricking way..."  it's awesome.  515-257-6465 if you want to go get some ink.
So like I said, I have lots of free time.  I play RIFT (beta right now) and go to DMACC for fun.  I don't care for a degree or anything, I'm just going and taking things that I find interesting like painting, drawing, spanish, business, etc.,
I drive a fancy car and like to ride my Harley V-Rod in the warmer weather.  Oh my car is a 2010 Camaro Transformers Edition 2SS/RS.  It's a blast to drive...

You know, I've driven Ford my whole life. My first car was a Ford Maverick. Oh well I had a Firebird for a minute also... but this Camaro, I had to have it. Everyone and their mother has a Mustang (hell my WIFE has one). So no more "Commonaro" now it's Mustangs everywhere...

The website for the shop is: http://kinktattoo.com portfolio and random pics: https://picasaweb.google.com/kinktattoo

If you've even dove Bimini I bet we've been to a few of the same sites. Went twice, both with Blackbeards out of Miami but that was 96 and 97. Also dove Andros for a couple days. Dove Maui & Lanai too. Lame in comparison. Better off skin diving right of shore, that's where everything is anyways.

Next time I (or the wife) want Ink I know where to go.
