Changing Salt brand

So I have been using Instant Ocean Since the first day I started by aquarium. I was thinking about changing it. Any thoughts?

 

I read somewhere that for example Seachem salt mix contains more of the major minor and trace elements. So I was thinking instead of dosing my tank with supplements I could just do a 10% water change once a week to replenish these important elements and for go adding separate supplements. Now I dont have a large load in my 55g, just mushrooms, leathers frogspawn and a candy cane coral and about 100 lbs of live rock.

 

Good to hear. I think what I will do is do weekly water changes and record my water parameters just as a precaution. Then if I have a problem keeping a level of a certain element then I will add that in separately. Sometimes I feel that things are better off if you just leave them alone and I don't want to add things in my tank that I can get from just doing a 10% water change once a week.
