   I justed started using cheato in my sump as of today. I had been only using live rock and rubble in my sump for the last six months and everyting has been doing great. Just wanted the cheato to help with the filtration.
   
   
   I have read that the cheato needs to tumble or at least move around so should I pull out some of my rock so the cheato has more room?

   I think tumbling is over rated IME. Ours grows in a thick mass that doesnt tumble at all and grows like crazy. About once per week I manually flop it over and it seems to do just fine.
