I've heard alot of about this stuff lately on nano reefs.  So I figured I would give some a try and let everyone know how it works.  I'm using this on my 12g Nano which you are supposed to use a 1/2 unit which is 12$ seems expensive, but I'm going to see how it works.  They say that you can cut down on water changes but with only doing one gallon water changes its just safe to keep doing them.  But I put the bag in last night, and my first impression of the stuff was that it looked like a mess in the bag already before I put it in the tank.  Last night the tank was really foggy but today when I got home from school it looked alot better so I will see how it does the next couple months and let everyone know how it is working for me.  This should be a good thing for the all in one guys.

Yea me too.  I heard bad things about the plain Chemi Pure.  So I was going to see how this works.  I don't know exactly how to judge if this works, but water clearity is getting a lot better today, so hopefully it gets a little better.  I'm just going to keep checking my parameters and seeing if it keeps everything in check, compared to the carbon.

I would just add some GFO to your carbon. BRS has good prices on both. I've used it before and can say that carbon/gfo mix will work just as well. Although, they do sell smaller 5 oz. bags for around $6 at DFS.

I heard about this, but also heard negitives about this too.  Sounds like without a GFO reactor it doesnt work as well.

I can say from first hand expirence it makes your water clearer. My water was very clear to start but now it looks like drinking water. I use it and will continue to use it. I'm also not using a reactor for it but in a make shift power filter along with phoszorb. The phoszorb works but not as well as I would like.
