I am reading the new Foster and Smith Aquatics catalog tonight and I come across the chemical section as usual.  They have chemicals for anything and everything that could go wrong or good for your tank.  Now I, myself, try not to use chemicals at all.  My question to you guys, how many and what kind of chemicals do you use?  Be it saltwater or freshwater.

What kind of chemicals are you referring to? Additives like calcium, mag, kalk? Or you talking like for treating pests? I am currently topping of with Kalk but plan on starting two part here soon. I don't do anything chemical wise with my water though treatment wise. I do dip all my corals in Revive though before placing them in my tank.

I understand the calcium, magnesium and kalk and so on. I am referring to chemicals like...W.O.W. Waste Out Weekly - has bacteria and enzymes that break down and remove waste, sludge, ammonia, and nitrite. Of Course the all too famous Algae Fixer, PH up and down and so on.
