I have two cleaner shrimp in my 180, and it looks like they are preggo, at least one of them does.. Their lower abdomen is full of what looks like a big Green sack of eggs... Does this sound about right???

    Yup sure it.

It will release them about sundown and become a very good treat for your corals and fish.

I have the exact same thing going on with one of my cleaners in my 180 as well. Glad to know that's what it is!

    absolutly zero chance.
They will release eggs approx every two weeks.

Even if they didn't get preyed on I'm guessing that there's probably not enough phyto/zooplankton for them to survive. Just a guess though.

Not really, but that is a sign of a really healthy tank.

You can feed the pods by dosing some greenwater occasionally.

I just bought two peppermint shrimps as well and they are both preggo to. At least my tank will have a good treat.
