We finally into our new house at the end of the week. I'm gonna take this time and clean and redo some things in it. I know viniger works great and my tank is acrylic so can I set it in the yard and let each side soak? How long do I need to wait before setting back up?

If you are just using vinegar inside the tank, just rinse it out good and you will be good to go.

What I did was soak paper towels in strait vinegar and drape them over the sides and let it sit on the coralline for a good long time and really loosen it up.
After that a good rinse is all it needs before setting it up.
