Need some advice from my fellow reefers. I have a piece of live rock that has been out and dried for about a year. I want to use it in my scape but wanted to know how long to clean it.

I've put it in a tub of clean fresh water to get all the debry out for 2 days with a powerhead. Didn't know if I should give it a few more days or is this enough. I have changed the water 1 time so far.

    Thanks for the advice.

how big is the piece? you could boil the rock and rinse it another time just for redundancy. if it is not a very large peice i would say it is clean enough

Thanks, it's about 8 inches by 8 inches. I'll give a boil tonight and then use it. The smell is gone and it looks pretty much clean.
