I was doing my weekly tank maintenance last night and noticed my clownfish had laid eggs! Now I have no expectations of the fry surviving, or the means to try and raise them so I'll appreciate the free food for the tank, but I'm wondering how common this is? Some quick reading online made it sound like this could happen every few weeks, but is it an indicator the tank is in good shape?

I'm sure I'm not the only one who does a mental, or sometimes physical, fist pump a la Tiger Woods when I walk by the tank and see the inhabitants doing well. Is this one of those moments and I'm doing something right? Or perhaps on the opposite side it's a sign I'm overfeeding, as an example, and need to step back and change something?

Attached are a couple pics including my hawkfish (who may be hired as a body guard) that I was concerned about in a previous thread but who is doing great in my DT.

    That is pretty darn awesome!!!!

Yes your fish have to be very healthy to make eggs. It takes energy to make them and spawn.

    So kudos, looking great!
