Don't hold your breath...things don't seem to be getting any better any time soon. I've seen nothing that makes me believe that things are going to turn around.

Agreed. I am also waiting for them to tear down my house. I want to watch that as it is about15-20 feet away from a bar and a house and even less than that for the building behind it. I cant wait to watch as Im sure they will be worried about knocking it into one of these structures.

Good luck on our future dealings with our retarded city though.

So why do you have to be there to watch it? (not being sarcastic or mean, just don't understand) Is it just something you WANT to witness or what?

I used to run a frozen pizza route with quite a few stops in CR. It was shocking to drive back through the neighborhoods I used to drive through and see that a lot of the places I delivered to are no more. Some of them did a booming business too.

I can understand why they would want to watch.  A home that a family member has lived in from 71 years probably has huge sentimental ties and memories associated.  I think I would want to see it had I been in that situation.

The city calls my grandmother and tells her the demo date, so I take off work and stand around there all day then they dont do it, happened twice. We werent just "guessing " it would happen, they said it would...then they do it today and call no one.. go figure..
