Coming Soon - Embroidered GIRS Wear!

Coming next year, we'll be ordering some embroidered GIRS T-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies.  I'm attaching a sample of the embroidered logo that I was given as an approval sample.  It will be changing slightly to make the club name a little larger and more detailed.  The logo will be a left crest on the front of the shirt.  Also, the web site URL will be on the high back right below the neck.  Not quite as colorful or photo-like as our last shirts, but these will continue to look good after many times through the wash.  And the garments are very nice quality too.  We're getting a small order for raffle prizes at the Cedar Rapids / Iowa City Christmas party so that people can see what they actually look like.  The samples that we are giving away will be in both gray and black, but I anticipate we will be able to order in white also.  On the black apparel, the text (both the club name and the text in the logo) will be in white.  Prices will be around $15 (t-shirts) to $20 (hoodies) with sizes larger than XL being a little more.  Full pricing will be available when they are available for order.  More info to come, but I'm very interested to see how many of you are interested in purchasing something like this.  Please let me know by voting in the poll!

Larger sizes are available...I'll get you hooked up!  Check them out at the Christmas party first and make sure that you like them.  They should be delivered to me at work tomorrow.  I'll post pics and upload them.

Here's pics of the final products that were delivered today.  I'm very happy with them...I'm sure you will be to.  Notice that the hoodies have the site URL on the hood instead of on the back so if you don't have the hood on your head, you can see it along the rim of the hood.  This was a last minute change that the embroidering company made and I think it was a good decision.  Those attending the CR / IC Christmas party will get to see them first hand...and maybe even take one home.  Here's the pics.  Like I mentioned before, we'll be doing our first order early 2010.

Also, I'll look into trucker hats.  If anyone has any suggestions on how we can make these better, let me know.   This first order was done so that we can get an idea of what's possible and how things would turn out...we can always make changes if needed.

Just to give you an idea, when these go on sale, here's the pricing that would be charged for the garments as pictured.  The base price includes all adult sizes from S to XL.  I'm not sure why gray is more expensive than black, but that's the way it is.  Let me know if you have any questions...again, the first order will be going in early next year.
