Computer mess

    Anyone know anyone in the DM area that you have taken you computer to or you KNOW is good at fixing computers.  Not Best Buy! 
    I turned my computer off the other day, it installed updates and shut down.  Next moring I turned it on and it kept saying Disk Read Error..Ctl, Alt, Del to restart...did that and it just kept bringing up Disk Read Error, etc. 
    Tried it a couple of times trying to get it to boot in safe mode and it finally did and I was able to roll it back to a couple days ago and it worked fine.
    Turned it off last night, said installing updates and it shut down.  Now it won't boot up and I get the disk read error again but now I can't get into anything.
    I'm sure the update installed something that conflicts with something.. [​IMG]  HD seems to be spinning ok but who knows if that's it or not.

    My husband recommends a company called Dynim.  My husband is very savvy with computers and when all else fails and he can't resolve a problem, that's where he takes our computer.  They are located in a strip mall north of Douglas on 100th st.  He says they charge a minimum of $42 - they call it a diagnostic fee (maybe for the 1st hour) - then could be more if they need to replace something or how much longer it takes.

    there is dit computers in the strip mall right by the interestate and the super target (hwy 141?)
