  1. Before (it is beginning to encrust on the rock)

After the frogspawn got to it for two days before I moved it.

Two weeks later, I don't see it healing, if anything, the bleaching has gotten slightly worse :/ I moved the frogspawn so it no longer touches, but didn't see much improvement.. Nitrate levels are higher than I want them to be (25 ppm), but they were about the same before the coral was stung by the frogspawn, yet it was still growing quickly.. is there anything I can do?

Also, these snails appear to have been eating a few of my other sps corals, and I didn't realize it until it was too late. anyone else have these pests? most of them have been removed, from either me or my crab, but do see one occasionally, pretty sure they weren't the ones bleaching the chalice though.

Those are limpets. I haven't found them to be reef safe, especially when they get that large.

They are keyhole limpets, I had one and never had problems, but it is always possible. Do you have any fish that could possibly be chomping your coral? It kinda looks like bite marks.

  4. believe it or not I was stupid enough to feed them thinking I got free snails off some live rock lol. No, just two clowns at the moment
