I set up a 20L in my basement next to my water mixing station. I don't have a clear plan for it yet, I just wanted to have a cycled tank ready and available for when I do make a decision. Well it is officially cycled.

    My question is this...
I have some coral in my display tank (90 gal) that I am thinking about moving down to the 20L. I got lazy for a while and let my nitrates and phosphates rise. Now I'm battling a minor case of algae and working on getting parameters back in check. The coral does ok, growth is pretty minimal and color is meh.

Would it be a wise decision to move them downstairs (they are not really attached to anything and would be easy to move) to let them grow and thrive while I work on getting parameters back in check? Or should I just leave them in the tank?
    Corals in question would be:
    Hammer
    Bi Colored Hammer
    Brain
    War Coral
    Chalice
    Duncan
    Two different kinds of Blasto
Two different kinds of Candy Cane
    Random Zoas/Palys

    Thanks for the input!!!

I personally wouldn't see a clear benifet to moving them to a less mature system.

+1... If no3 & po4 and, other params are quite a bit different than the 20L, you would need to acclimate them longer than usual/normal time. Plus lighting and flow will be different in the 20L. If the corals are still doing ok, leave them be and get the tank back to par:9)
