Looking for any info you might have on this skimmer
I am looking to put it in a 29 Bio Cube.   I was planning on getting a Saphfire BC29 Recirculating skimmer, but Saphfire Aquatics went out of business and can't order them anymore.   So this is my next choice.

From What I have read you will want to run your water level high, so you are not always tweaking the level in the skimmer. Here is a video on setup and operation (not mine). The air source on the skimmer is also reported to be kinda loud, could easily be fixed. Also skimmer fit seems tight (or was).William

I run a bakpak II on my small tank and have been happy with it. For the price, assuming you are buying new, I am certain there are better options though.

I would go with a Tunze 9002 with a StevieT custom cup if your planning on using the stock lid, otherwise it won't fit.

There was a post recently from someone selling a couple of these used. I had one running on my 29g with 20g sump and it did okay. The Rio pump has a venturi set up that requires regular cleaning to maintain proper air flow.

Ok Jeremy I did order the Tunze 9002. I couldn't find were to order the custom Stevie T cup, but interest in that. Not sure if I will need it since I am not going to be using the stock lid for the BC.
